Hi Team,

Please find attached for warning.

The warning means that there are more rows to display. Even one extra row would cause that message. On the Options tab, try increasing the value in the Override system data limit option.

Hi

We row limit is already set to 40k and our total data is 29k only.

To see how many rows that are actually being returned, you can do this:

Note: I do not recommend posting any query results to the community.

  1. Open the report and select the list table.
  2. Press CTRL+ALT+Q to open the query diagnostics window.
  3. Next to the drop-down list with the name of the list table is a > icon. Click that icon to run the query just for that table.
  4. When it is finished, more tabs will display in the window.
  5. On the o Results tab, look at the bottom for the section that starts <DataFile>.
  6. There are two values to look at here: rowCount and availableRowCountrowCount is how many rows the table is displaying. availableRowCount is the number of rows actually returned. In this case, the availableRowCount is likely higher than the rowCount
  7. Next, look at the Server tab.
  8. Scroll to the bottom where you will see propery names and their values. One of the values should match the rowCount you see on the oResults tab. This is the property that would have to be increased in order to display all available rows and avoid the warning.

More information about cardinality can be found here: https://support.sas.com/kb/62/148.html . If you have trouble with the query diagnsotics, then let us know what version you are using.

Hi Madelyn,

We are getting desired details by following suggested steps till point # 6.

We are unable to get details for below points :

7. Next, look at the Server tab.
8. Scroll to the bottom where you will see propery names and their values. One of the values should match the rowCount you see on the oResults tab.
This is the property that would have to be increased in order to display all available rows and avoid the warning.

Our Current SAS VA version is : 7.51

Unfortunately, the query diagnostics in 7.51 do not work as well as the diagnostics in Visual Analytics on SAS Viya.

But the most likely limit that is being exceeded is viewerservices.default.max.cells.produced on Transport Services. This property is mentioned in Reference for Selected Properties for All Transport Services Clients

The default is 250,000. Typically, that value is sufficient. You can try increasing this to 400,000 and see if it allows all rows to display. You do this in SAS Management Console. The documentation above has the steps to change a limit on transport services. Note that increasing limits can cause the system to become unstable. You will need to reduce the limit if that occurs.
