Hello Everyone,

I am Using SAS Visual Analytics on SAS 9.4 on Windows and I am having a rough time figuring out how to rank line items in a cross-table.

I want to rank each Sub-Category based on a value in its own category. maybe the below picture will clarify what I need.

Can you please help me ?

Thank you in advance.

Visual Analytics cannot derive a rank score directly, but you can use it in the object's role itself.

It's called rank and you can select x or x% top entries based on a variable's value.

But in my experience you cannot control for group structure.

So in your example TOP3 would show

Soccer 15

Tennis 12

Tennis 10

Just to clarify, your goal is to create a new column with the ranking values?
