Email functionality in VA

Hi,

When trying to share a report via Email in Visual Analytics, I get the following error:

E-mail could not be sent because: E-mail service error.

I suspect it's because the SMTP server information has not been set.

Where would one find this setting?

I'm fairly sure that this email functionality is configured in the SAS Workspace Server.

I would suggest reviewing the "SMTP Mail Server" section of the SAS 9.4 Intelligence Platform: Middle-Tier Administration Guide:

Also, for Visual Analytics, add an email address to the metadata identity for the person sending the email.
