ESRI Map Option not showing on VA 7.1

Hi All,

I would like to ask how to troubleshoot or what could be the cause of not showing options from Esri maps service?

If you are a new User to our VA environment and would like to use Geo Maps on reporting, you need to configure this setting and go to Report Designer > File > Preferences > SAS Visual Analytics Designer > Geo Map.

You need to change the Map Provider from OpenStreetMap to Esri and click the Edit button for Esri map service. From there, there should be an options. But since last week the options are not showing.

For the old Users who already configured this option is not having a problem loading the ESRI map in their report.

Hi Albert,

I'm not too sure why you see different behavior between existing and new users. Whether or not you have access to Esri services - depends on whether or not you have configured the related configuration property. The admin guide at https://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/vaag/69958/HTML/default/viewer.htm#n1oaashorywocun10c5e... has more details. Do new users experience any other problems in VA which are related? When you say - there is no option - do you mean the related Esri map service option is grayed out or the list of services is empty? Do you see the same issue when using SAS Visual Analytics Explorer?
