Hi

I have run into difficulty when trying to build a data query using the data preparation tool.  I'm wondering if this is a restriction of the data prep tool and if I need something like DI Studio?

I would like to do a conditional JOIN, specifically using an ISNULL statement to JOIN and a certain ID - if another ID happens to be NULL

Can anyone help?

Can you elaborate, perhaps write a skeleton SQL, and small set of sample data?

Perhaps an outer join will work for you...
