Wondering if there is any way to have a user to input his/her 'OK' for a published dashboard after daily review of updated data.
This could involve a Yes/No button along with a small text-box for notes/comments. It should ideally be writing to a table that can be tracked by users of the dashboard.
Any thoughts or approaches? Thank you.
viranch:
SAS Visual Analytics does not have a formal report review/approve/sign-off feature.
You can sort of accomplish this two ways:
1) Create a Control of some kind pointing to 2 custom calculated items for Yes or No respectively.
The selection of that Control will populate another Control or Report Object whether there was an approval or not.
OR
2) Use the out of the box Comments feature of SAS Visual Analytics as a way to do some kind of report review/approve/sign-off:
Any comment created/written is tracked on an on-going basis wherever that report is viewed (Web Viewer, SAS Add-in for MS-Office, SAS Mobile BI).
Hope this helps,
