Hi Team,

Description:

For example  we have 2 reports named as below;

1.List view       and

2. Detailed view

In list view we need to filter based on Release type ,project, release. Here Release type is a calculated column and (Project ,release) are direct columns coming from database . we are using these columns as  global filters and given interactions between them  and it is working fine for  list view.

we need to pass these values to detailed view report to get detailed report of that particular project and release.

so, we made a report link from list view to detailed view and we need  pass values for global filters from list view to detailed view.

Because of using calculated column (Release type ),  values are not passing from one view to other view , if we are using only 2 columns directly coming from Database ( i.e Project and Release) we are not facing this issue. If we are trying to include calculated value as global filter we are facing issue

For information we are using drop down list object here.

Please help us whether there is a option to pass value  from one view to other view . if yes  suggest us how to pass calculated value from one view to other view as global filter.

Dear Pavan,

Please share the screenshot how you created the calculated column.

what kind of interaction you fixed between your objects ?

by global filter do you mean report prompt ?

Regards,

Ashish
