Hi All,

I'm replicating an excel chart in SAS VA 7.1 using a Bar Line Chart Custom Category. I have attached the screenshot of the report.

The report requires 1 variable for Category role, 1 variable for Group role and 1 variable for Lattice column role then 2 Measure for the bar and line.

But in Custom Category it only accepts a Lattice column role or a Group role. You cannot add both roles. Can anyone suggest another alternative to this so that I could show the same report in the attached screenshot?

I'm using 1 Bar Chart then 1 Line Chart on the Custom Graph.

Thanks.

Hi!

First of all, I think that you should redesign that graph from the start, I think it is hard to see the different values along the bars. They all have the same colour and the grouping is not that easy to see. I would have split it into separate graphs instead.

Anyhow, I gave it a try and it may give you some ideas 🙂 ?

It does not look exactly as yours thou....:)

Hi Fredrike,

Thanks for trying...Yeah it doesn't look the same you can't also add a Group role into it right?
