Hey there,

it seems to be a common challenge that is discussed and solved many times. But I wonder if there is a smarter solution.

My Table is structured as follows:

ContractIDModule_1Module_2Module_3
ABC100
DEF111
GHI010
........

Goal is to create a bar chart in VA (8.5), that shows the share of existing Module_1 (=1) within all contracts.

As there is no categorical variable for the Modules in this "wide" table, I have to transpose it into a "long" version. That's the proposed way to solve that (first sort, then transpose).

But is there also a way to create such a chart within Visual Analytics without creating a second datasource of this structure?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
