Hi All,
I have a SAS University Edition installed in my PC. The local host URL is working fine and i was able to do all the stuff in SAS studio.
How to access the same URL from a different PC? I tried replacing localhost with IP but it did not work in another PC. I disabled firewall but still dint give me any result.
Eg: http://localhost:10080/SASInformationCenter/index.html
I tried from another PC as eg: http://10.1.1.1:10080/SASInformationCenter/index.html
You can't, it's installed on that other computer and running there. Although it uses a browser as an interface it is not running in the cloud. You either need to install it on both machines, set up one to allow remote desktop connection, or use a cloud service. For cloud services, AWS has an image, it costs approximately $15/month to have it running 24/7.
SAS Academics on Demand is free but has a limit to the size of files you can work with.
