What is your independent variable(s)? Is it numeric or character?

 

Unfortunately pictures of bits of the puzzle really don't supply sufficient information. It sounds much like you didn't specify one of the required variables for the type of regression you selected.

Currently, the Linear Regression task does now allow you to estimate an intercept-only model.  Instead, on the MODEL tab you are required to click Edit to use the Model Effects Builder to add at least one effect to the model in order to run the task:
