I just saw a post by Beveryly Brown suggesting to clear the cache before running SAS Studio.
Clearing the cache doesn't help, using another browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) however does. It's all related to the latest Chrome release version 67.
Just started yesterday with SAS Studio log-in issue using Chrome version 67. SAS 9.4M4 Linux servers environment. Will open track with SAS Tecg Support.
No need to open a new track record, it's already noted as Problem Note 62389.
I have same problem too with university edition and chrome v67..Just tried the firefox..and its working just fine......Thank you
Had the same problem in Firefox but not Chrome for both UE and local install. Turns out it was the adblocker.

Your experience is different than others (and myself) have. I'm also using an adblocker (Adblock Plus) installed in both IE and Chrome. In Chrome it's disabled for localhost, but SAS runs fine in IE (with an active adblocker) and not in Chrome (adblocker disabled).
Are you sure you're using Chrome version 67? Maybe still a previous version installed?
You are correct the version of chrome was older. After update it failed to start even after installing the hotfix for the local install.

I've been posting updates to another thread on the Studio board & just realized this one is getting way more hits, so adding the info here for anyone who is just now running into the problem with Studio not initializing on Chrome. The summary is that we are rolling out fixes to Studio to handle the changes in Chrome. If you are using Studio with the SAS University Edition, <new edit 25JUN2018)> just go to your Info Center and press the update button to get this fix (or download a new copy). If you are using Studio with a regular SAS license, here are the hot fixes currently available:

Thank you for the answer. I'll continue using firefox while waiting for the update.
@LaurenceLetarte: The latest UE update appears to have corrected the problem regarding newer versions of Chrome.

We have pushed a new release of SAS University Edition to apply the fix for Chrome. You can either go to your Info Center and click the update button or you can download a new copy.
Just a confirmation: installed the update for UE and SAS runs smoothly again under Chrome.
