I am new to SAS studio. My question: When I right click a TXT file the "Open" option is available and I am able to see the txt file contents as a new program tab in SAS Studio. Why the "Open" option is not available on CSV file? Picture shows what I get when I double left clickon a csv file. How can I easily see a csv file contents as a new program tab in SAS Studio?
What version of SAS/Studio are you running? You should be able to view it as text.
But it would be nice if SAS/studio let you edit text files (csv files are just text files) in the editor window, just like Display Manager let's you edit text files in the Program Editor (or for Windows Clients even the Enhanced Editor) window.
You cannot open a CSV file within SAS. You would import the data and then open the SAS data set.
PS paste your code directly into the forum, we can't copy/paste from images.
