I am a new learner of SAS, and I have a problem, like the pic below; whenever I type a code at SAS studio, the letters jump forward, and the semicoma jumps to the middle. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Hi weijie,

We will probably need some more information about where this is happening:

  1. Browser software and version.
  2. Browser operating system.
  3. Network speed.

I don't think it is a SAS Studio problem, but it could be due to your browser not displaying your screen quick enough! Could you try using a different browser please, and see if that makes any difference?

Thanks Phil.

I am using Google Chrome (which was updated on 1/9/2025)

I'm not sure why; the coding area was wired after I updated the Windows system; the backspace always lost function, and one click of a blank tab can erase all of the code, and the statement will get stuck, and I could not move any words or type in the coding area.  I still do not know what to do. Thanks.
