I want to create a data step that keeps only dates greater or equal to Aug 15, 2016. A sample of the data is listed below.
data want;
set have;
if Incident_ts ge ??;
run;
| INCIDENT_TS | Frequency | Percent | Cumulative Frequency |
Cumulative Percent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 13FEB11:08:00:00 | 1 | 0.00 | 1 | 0.00 |
| 13APR11:08:00:00 | 1 | 0.00 | 2 | 0.01 |
informat INCIDENT_TS anydtdtm40. ;
if datepart(Incident_ts) ge '15AUG2016'd;
if datepart(Incident_ts) ge '15AUG2016'd;
Thanks.
No problem. The key is to recognize that it is a datetime value, not a date, so you need to extract the date from it and then just use the literal in your expression.
