Hi SAS Users,

I do not know why my code in SAS EG is up to 1GB, it is really  unfamiliar to me. Can you please explain why it can happen and how to reduce the size of it if available?

Many thanks!

Thank you for your help, have a fabulous and productive day! I am a novice today, but someday when I accumulate enough knowledge, I can help others in my capacity.

Dataset disappear, tables written by proc print, report and/or tabulate are stored in the project file.

Do you have any output results in the project (with proc print, or any similar procedure generating output data)?

Hi @yabwon

Yes I do have some code in this project having some proc print and the like.

Are those outputs "big"?

Hi @yabwon

I am not sure about that, how can we test if it is big or not?

Many thanks!

Do you print out datasets which have several thousands of observations and plenty of variables?

But I think does it matter?

Because from my understanding, when I close the program and reopen the code again, the results automatically disappear?

Many thanks!

EG -> tools -> options -> results general

and see if the "automatically add output data to the project tree" is on?

Hi @yabwon

I can't see what you ask but it is the result general box
