As we now seem to have two posters referred with very similar  nicknames I guess I'll have to change mine :smileyshocked:

Peter,  that is obviously a limitation that should be able to correct.  Only one Peter.C shows up in the menu and that has always linked to you.  Similarly, I've never been able to use the @ symbol to include data_null's name in any post.

Hi and PeterC

I branched this part of the topic off into a new topic and edited the title.  (The fun you can have with big power Smiley Happy)

Here's the deal.  As long as two usernames are unique they are allowed.  If you create new names in the system now, it does not consider differences in capped letters uniqueness.  We have a few issues with names that were imported from the old system.  The two PeterC's actually differ by a period at the end.  PeterC. and PeterC   They are technically unique.

PeterC.  (with the period) hasn't posted anything in a long time. His account is only months away from being disabled due to inactivity.  I  will modify his username to be PeterC.2  That should help.  , got your name from the @, but as you see, it displays your real name.  See next reply Smiley Happy

I'll answer your data_null question in the next reply just to keep the responses clean.

Hi Renee

did you mean to refer to ArtC or Art297

and where do I find out how to tag a reference to people like ArtC and Art297 so that the reference becomes a link?

best

Peter
