Hi, I have been trying the Select all query (*) in SAS Entersprise Guide and it is not going.  Could somebody help please.

The query is

SELECT * FROM table

     WHERE Date is '31MAR2011'D;

Looks like it is something to do with the WHERE statement.

1. Use '=' or 'in' instead of 'is'.

2. Check that the date format is correct.

Hi James,

Below is the code you should use to get the desired output.

proc sql;

create table table-name as

SELECT * FROM table

     WHERE Date = '31MAR2011'D;

quit;

Thanks,

Ankit
