Hello All,

I am using Schedule Manager to set up some auto-execution jobs.

Because the SAS service is on Linux, I am confused about who will be the owner of the the data libraries created by the auto-execution program ? If I schedule the flow with user A , and the previous data libraries was created by user B (thus owner is B), will the auto-execution flow be able to update those data libraries?

Thanks

Hi,

Whichever user schedules the job will be the owner. You will need to provide OS level permissions for other user to overwrite it.

You can also use a generic batch user to schedule your jobs so that all the data is owned by a single user.

If the users are different, ensure that the users can update each others' files.

The authorisations are visible by using the command  ls -la   and can be changed by using the command    chmod
