You need to set validvarname to "any" to use name literals. But you should talk to the admins before doing so.

So someone set the option "validvarname" to "v7" meaning that you can't use fancy variable names, which is in my opinion always a good idea.

I have created the table from sas eg using "validvarname" to "v7" option but i am getting this error while registering the table in sas di.
While registering where shall i use the validvarname?
