Hello,
Can Anybody name the option to produce a frequency line items rather that a table Keyword.
Regards,
Jaiganesh
If your suggesting List Keyword, I have been referring the below example for the same.
proc freq data =admit;
tables sex*actlevel/list;
run;
However the question expect the answer for the tables keyword alternative, I'm very new in SAS, May be wrong.
Kindly suggest.
Regards,
Jaiganesh

Can you provide the exact text of the question you are referencing? You may have rephrased it to make it difficult to translate to actual Proc Freq code. Or if you have an example of what the output or result should actually look like.
If you are meaning to create a data set but no printed or results then perhaps:
Proc freq data=somedata noprint; tables variable/ out=outputdata; run;
If you Exclude a tables statement then basically any output is based on all of the variables in the data set as single variables.
