Helo. I am having problems with this programme

proc export data=pg1.storm_final
outfile="&outpath/storm_final.csv"
dbms=csv replace;
run;

Says

ERROR: Export unsuccessful. See SAS Log for details.

 How do I go about this?

Hi,

there is big chance you don't have write permission on a server to "/opt/sasinside/SASConfig/Lev1/SASApp" folder.

If I may suggest, try to change path to the file you want to create to something like: "~/storm_final.csv" for the beginning, to test if you can create it in your home directory.

The second thing is that since log says: "Physical file does not exist, /opt/sasinside/SASConfig/Lev1/SASApp/&outpath/storm_final.csv." it looks like macro variable &outpath didn't resolve properly, try to check if following results with proper path:

%put *&outpath*;

Let us know if it helped?

all the best

Yes. It reads
0 records created in &outpath/storm_final.csv from PG1.STORM_FINAL.
And also:
ERROR: Physical file does not exist, /opt/sasinside/SASConfig/Lev1/SASApp/&outpath/storm_final.csv.

Your macro variable &outpath isn't set up correctly. Ensure that the macro variable is created and points to the directory you want it to.
