Hi,
I am very new to SAS and have a quick question. Is there any way to multiply a column by another number (17 in my case)?
Thanks
or, if you don't want to create a new table:
data have;
do i = 1 to 10;
output;
end;
run;
proc sql;
update have
set i = i*17;
quit;
the answer is in your question:
data have;
do i=1 to 10;
output;
end;
run;
data want;
set have;
want=i*17;
run;
or, if you don't want to create a new table:
data have;
do i = 1 to 10;
output;
end;
run;
proc sql;
update have
set i = i*17;
quit;
