In base sas certification exam, they asked me to save error detection question as program but when i tried to save that problem in results library only file saved with "sas log", how can i save that program to attempt that questions?

Make sure you're clicked on the main SAS program and then click save as.

You are saying that i have to click properly on output folder (which is sub folder of cert), if i want to save it in output folder?

Anytime that SAS Studio behaves oddly, such as trying to save a program file as a '.log' file, close Studio and re-open it. Although I have seen people trying to save files from the "Log" window rather than the "Program" Window (in which case you would expect a .log file), I have seen examples where Studio adds the '.log' extension to a program file.
