I am using SAS for a research methods class for my graduate program. I am having difficulty trying to get a MERGED file to appear in Libraries/My Libraries/WORK. Everytime I try to run code I get the error below.

My professor recommended me to do the below:

Until there is a solution, stop at the MERGED file creation syntax. The MERGED file will be located in your Libraries/My Libraries/WORK.

You will need to run all the testsort1 and testsort2 then merge code each time you login to recreate this MERGED file.

You can run analyses on the MERGED file

However, I still get this message whenever I run the code and the merged file is not showing up in my library. How do I work around this? My professor recommended I troubleshoot as I don't know what else to do. I would appreciate any help!

There a many instances of this error on this web site, but I did not see a solution.

Did you search?

Did you see this one https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Data-Mining-and-Machine/an-error-occurred-quot-an-exception-was-t... ?

This looks like SAS Tech Support should be involved.
