Help needed_Proc Nested

Hello Everybody,

I am trying to run a proc nested command with a panel data in long format. However, I am getting huge degrees of freedom. How to minimize this and interpret it properly??

Could you describe your design, so that we might understand how "huge" degrees of freedom might be arising?
