Hi there

I am automating error checking in some of our processes. When I get the error emailed to me, I am getting the last error in the log. How do I ensure I get the 1st error message?

I am emailing myself the following:

&syserrortext

Is there any other one I can use so I get exactly the first error?

There is not an automatic macro variable that stores the first error.  One way to get the first error is to parse the log file.  If you search lexjansen.com for user group papers on log parsing, you will find lots of approaches.  My favorite approach is: https://www.lexjansen.com/nesug/nesug01/cc/cc4008.pdf .
