How to import excl sheet into sas EG ? I knew navigation process apart from that using proc import  for defensive programming...

/apps/sas/SAS94/Config_GCS/Lev1/SASApp94/ - This path looks like remote Linux SAS Server path to which you are connected. Is the excel file on the same SAS Server or on local machine/laptop?

You saved it under your EG Home folder - right?

If you now drag the object onto an EG program window what path does it show you? Is it the one from your error log?
