Call execute and message "Enterprise Guide was unable to submit this job successfully"

When running code that includes a call execute step, I get a message in Enterprise Guide version 8.2 that I have not encountered in previous versions of Enterprise Guide. The message is "Enterprise Guide was unable to submit this job successfully" and it shows up just under the top toolbar:

The code produces the expected datasets and there are no errors or warnings in the log.

Does anyone know how to avoid this message?

Since, by the log, your code ran successfully, this could be a wrong message from EG. I suggest you bring this to the attention of SAS Technical Support.
