Accessing data during 00231 Exam

I failed my first attempt at the SAS 9.4 Base Programming -- Performance-based exam today. I did not move a step from the first question until I decided to end the exam. My big problem was that I was not able to establish my libraries to access data from the cert library. I used libname cert "C:/" but it was just creating a new library that does not contain any data. I spent more than an hour of my exam trying to figure this out and get discourage and drop off. Can anyone help on how to get started during the exam? The platform I chose was SAS studio.

I can't give you any specifics because it is directly related to the content of the exam, but I think the library path that should be assigned is not "C:\".

Did you access the practice questions beforehand?

Yes, I did. Before each practice I just run the setupBaseCert_oda.sas program. I thought the program was intend to load everything up for you.

Were you given a set up program and did that run successfully?

Was the folder created under Servers Files and Folders?

Do you know how to get the path to a folder under the Servers Folders and Files pane to then create your libname reference?

I can see that being a valid part of the test IMO.

No, I was not given a program. Also, can you please help with how to get the path to a folder under the Servers Folders and Files?

Right click it and select properties. The file path will be shown.
