find does not work

for some reason I cannot type new word or phrase to search for in SAS.

when I go to menu bar and click on EDIT and then find. it is locked to my last search. How can I unluck it.

If the symptom occurs at least twice (repeatable) after restarting SAS, suggest you open a SAS support track.
