I have an excel file and I am planning to convert them SAS dataset using proc import..

some of the columns in Excel has special characters like $%@ etc.... As a result I getting the following warning..........

'

some character data was lost during transcoding

'

Any suggestions on this....

try to save this excel file as CSV file .
