A number of SAS learners asked me if using ARRAYS in SAS® for large data sets works better than using PROC TRANSPOSE. Someone asked how he can get 100-character variables, with different variable names, stored as one variable. ARRAYS are stored in memory in SAS which may speed up the runs. My blog shows my answer.
