Assuming you are using the regular interactive SAS GUI (not EGuide), the saved log is just a text file.  The application that will open it in windows is determined by the extension and the file association in windows.  Typically, the extension is ".log" and the default Windows file association is Notepad.

You can just send the saved log file as an attachment or you can cut-n-paste it into the body of the e-mail.

Hi,

In SAS Enterprise Guide , you have the "Send to" tab in the Log window. You can select the "Email Recipient" which will automatically  take you to Outlook and you will be able to see that attached log file in the email.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,
