Trying to get tabulate to "ignore" that the criteria returns no results.  For example, if the id_category isn't in the data set, I'd still like the whole empty table output (zero or missing in every cell).

Anyway I can get tabulate to do this or to trick it in the data?

Some code for what you are trying to do might help. It sounds like you are looking for either MISSING or PRELOADFMT depending on what is missing and what you want to appear.
