I'm trying to use SAS for case-control design.
The response variable is 'obese' vs 'nor-obese'.
The exposure is defined by number of years of individuals participation in the weight loss program:
durcat 1-participated 1 year
durcat 2-participated 2 years
durcat 3-participated 3 years
durcat 4-participated 4 years
durcat 5-participated 5 years
proc freq data=have;
tables obese*durcat/cnh gender race age income_category;
I found below SUGI paper highly relevant.
MY QUESTION IS:
Do you know other approaches or PROC options than using MACRO with PROC FREQ to conduct case control study as explained above?
I think I could use proc logistic or proc genmod to estimate RR instead OR. Below guide was very helpful.
