Using Proc sql, splitting the database observations into different SAS dataset. Eg. if teradata has 1million record, need to fetch first 10000 records and then next 10000 and so on.

 

Could you please guide me using pass through.

Two questions. Why do you want to do this? And Why do you want to do this with PROC SQL?

For faster retrieval and also Mentioned specifically in Proc sql.

Still not clear. Teradata should be super fast.

So specifically why split into even chunks, does your analysis require these chunks?
