ERROR: Logon attempt by "userid" rejected by FTP server.
They did say they approved my access to this dataset on the mainframe yesterday so i am wondering if this is some FTP connection issues?
Have confirmed that you connect to that server if you use an FTP program with your id and password?
I've had more than one case where "approval" did not equal "access" for several days and a few times weeks.

see,i did not think of using the FTP program and no i dont have access to their site.
