Trying to  read in a  dataset  on mainframe  from EG SAS (Remote)

filename iGPI ftp "'GPIP.C.M.ZGPIXTRG.MONACCUM(0)'" host='vipap999.xxx.ca' user=***** pass=****** recfm=f lrecl=840 rcmd='site rdw';

data GPI;

infile iGPI;

input

@1 CRDT_SRCE_CD $EBCDIC3.

@4 CRDT_REF_NUM $EBCDIC21.

@25 CRDT_TYPE $EBCDIC3.

@28 SALES_BRANCH_NUM S370FPD3.

@31 CREDIT_NUM S370FPD10.

@;

run;

ERROR: Logon attempt by "userid" rejected by FTP server.

They did say they approved my access to this dataset on the mainframe  yesterday so i am wondering if this is some FTP connection issues?

Have confirmed that you connect to that server if you use an FTP program with your id and password?

I've had more than one case where "approval" did not equal "access" for several days and a few times weeks.
