Hi all,

I've had a version of R installed that was long-overdue for updating and now I am being forced to do so. In upgrading to R 4.4.0 I am getting errors trying to run R code from PC SAS 9.4 (TS1M7) via the PROC IML functionality, specifically the ExportDataSetToR function is failing and causing a critical error:

The errors above are from running the example code provided by SAS here, namely:

proc iml;
call ExportDataSetToR("Sashelp.Class", "df" );
submit / R;
   names(df)
endsubmit;

Anyone have ideas?

Thank you, Bart and Ksharp. That issue you linked to Bart seems like the likely culprit. I'll get in touch with our IT group and see if that hotfix solves it for me.

After I finally got some IT help, the J9L002 hot fix has resolved my issues. Thanks again for the diagnostic help!
