How to fill out the Team Profile on Hacker's Hub to complete registration for #SASHackathon

As part of the registration process for the 2025 SAS Hackathon, each industry track team needs to create a Team Profile on the SAS Hacker's Hub.

First, visit communities.sas.com and sign in. Don't have a SAS Communities Profile yet? Creating a SAS Communities profile is quick and easy.

Once you are signed in, click on "SAS Hacker's Hub" under the "Hubs" dropdown menu. Click the orange "Join Group Hub" button.

Create a Team Profile:

1. Go to the "Team Profiles" library under "Community areas" and click the blue "Create An Article" button. From the list, select the "Hacker's Hub Team Profile" template and click "Start Article."
2. Title your new article "Team Name - Use Case" and fill out your team's information in the chart in the body text area. Bonus points if you link your teammates' Communities profile in the 'Team members' section.
3. Add a short description summary (1-2 sentences) about your use case.
4. Add your fellow teammates as contributors to the article. This Team Profile will need to be edited as the SAS Hackathon progresses, so adding your fellow team members as contributors is a good idea so they are able update the Team Profile as well.
5. Remember to choose the article label that corresponds to the Industry Track you selected on your registration form.
6. Feel free to add a photo representing your team.

Optional: If you would like to include an optional introduction video for your team, click so your cursor is underneath the chart and  click the "Insert video" button. Browse your computer and select a video file to upload. Name your video “Team Name - Intro Video” and click on the "Insert Video" button.

Once that is all done, click "Publish" and you have successfully created your Team Profile on the SAS Hacker's Hub.
