The best part about a great conference is that there is content for every time of consumer of that content. Different formats. Different ways to learn.

SAS Global Forum has tons of different formats for learning and sharing ideas.

  • Quick Tips
  • Breakout Sessions
  • Training courses
  • Tutorials
  • E-Posters
  • General Sessions
  • Hands-On Workshops
  • Super Demos
  • Code Doctors
  • Demos in The Quad
  • Lunchtime Chats
  • Learning Lab

The nice part about concurrent sessions and staggered lunches, you get to choose your own experience. I may sit in breakout session after breakout session each day. My colleague may love learning at her own pace with e-Poster formatted sessions and the Learning Lab with dozens of free e-learning courses. Content is king. And you get to choose the best format for you. You can even use the session catalog to sort by session type and peruse the sample agendas to get you started.

And don't forget all of the other experiences while you are there. Again, you choose your experience.

Wow that's a lot of ways to learn at the conference!!!!  I think you have covered all the types of sessions.  Everyone should be able to find their preferred way to learn.

Is there going to be a "First Timer's" session on Sunday this year (as in years past)?

There is not a session. This event page is the venue we are using to provide the tips that would typically be done in that session.
