John Amrhein, SAS Global Forum 2017 conference chair wrote a blog post about What are you willing to do to get to SAS Global Forum? and it was difficult to hold back the Metacoda koala's excitement... in the Disney spirit, they're willing to become mice to get to SAS Global Forum!
What about you?
Cheers,
Michelle
P.S. If you'd like one of these Metacoda koala mice, we'll have a limited supply to give away each day.
They do look excited to be going! Definitely want to adopt one.
Be sure to visit the Metacoda stand to collect yours @JohnAmrhein!
If I'm lucky enough to adopt one, I'll even bring it to Sydney later in April and Bribane in May to visit its homeland 🙂

Sounds like a plan! They might koala-nap you when in Brisbane and take you to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary too! (Let me know when you're in town, it'll be my pleasure to take you.)
Those Metacoda koalas are cute, but they don't compare to the real thing.
Thank you for the generous offer. We will definately take you up on that one. Love koalas 🙂

My cling of Metacoda koalas (5 conferences and counting)
is ready to rock and roll in Orlando!
I'm willing to wake up at 4:30 AM to catch a 7:00 AM flight to Orlando. See you 4/2.
In case you missed it on Twitter yesterday...Marje Fecht and Don Henderson will #GetToSASGF by unicycling. We hope that anyone else who unicycles does so safely! 🙂
p.s. If you're socially active on Twitter, make sure you're following @sassoftware and the hashtags #GetToSASGF and #SASGF. You might also see SAS Professional Award Winner Chris Wayant unicycling through the twitterverse! We love the unique videos and photos our community members are contributing.
Going to have to investigate other travel plans. Graceful/coordinated are not words commonly used to describe me
I recovered my unicycle from Don - and just have 160 miles to cover in the next few weeks. See you in Orlando!! Don will offer unicycle lessons and I will offer macro lessons.... Ha ha - or is it the reverse 🙂
Wow!! This is so awesome, ha!
Getting there is not the issue (although there IS a 4 am departure involved) - it's getting back due to some draconian "compliance" (aka expense-driven) company travel regulations that have me going from MCO to either SLC or CVG to get to BOS - and since I have one of the last presentations on Wednesday, I'll be leaving just in time to get stuck in an airport overnight because of missed connections - AGAIN (SESUG 2015, WUSS 2016)! At least I won't get diverted to Lubbock, TX (SGF 2016)! Psyched for SGF 2017!
