SASGF Keynote - Commander Chris Hadfield - can't wait to be taken to the moon and back!

I came across an article Digital Storytelling Lessons from Charismatic Scientific Storyteller Chris Hadfield and am beyond excited to hear Commander Hadfield present on Wednesday morning at SAS Global Forum. *squeal*

I saw he has some books for sale and I was wondering whether there would be an opportunity to buy his books and get them signed. (If I buy the books online, I don't think they will arrive in Australia in time to bring over.) http://chrishadfield.ca/books/

I'm in two minds to tell my son, who aspires to be an astronaut, Commander Hadfield is presenting. Looking forward to #GetToSASGF and enjoying the [space] ride!

We are also very excited about Col. Hadfield at SASGF. I had the pleasure of speaking with him a few weeks back to discuss his presentation. His energy is contagious and his story is inspiring. 

Unfortunately, we do not have a book signing with him. He is on-site for a limited time and will be unavailable.

Me, too, Erin! I followed him on Twitter throughout his time on the space station. He's very personable and great at relating complex concepts to the average person who doesn't have his scientific background. I'm disappointed we won't have an opportunity for a meet-and-greet with him after his speech, but I'm grateful he's making time to fit us into his schedule. I always enjoy attending SAS GF conferences, but this year his keynote was a huge driver in my decision to attend.

I love anything to do with NASA. Hoping to take a trip over to Kennedy Space Center after the conference to explore a bit. I haven't been there in a number of years.

Really looking forward to listening to Mr. Hadfield speak at SASGF!
