I am working some business users that will be using SAS Forecast Studio for sales forecasting. The analyst who will be using the software doesn't have a strong background in statistics.

I'm looking for some recommendations about how to interpret (at a high level) how independent variables are effecting ARIMIA models in our Forecast Studio Project.

We all understand how to interpret significance/p-value, but how should we interpret parameter names such as SCALE, NUM1_1, DEN1_1. What do these mean in layman's terms?

Thank you.

They are the parameters of a transfer function model. You can find the details in the documentation of PROC ARIMA
