Hello
I am new with ses enterprise 8.3.
I opened a sas program and run it. I see a message- sas enterprise guide detected a sas studio enterprise edition 3.6 but requires 3.7 or greater to display sas studio tasks.
What does it mean?
Is there any bad results for this problem?
What action should I do?

Hello,

This only applies when you really want to reuse the tasks you created in SAS Studio within SAS EG. If you don't plan to, you can safely ignore the message.

The message means that your version of SAS Studio (3.6) is outdated, and SAS Enterprise Guide requires version 3.7 or higher to display certain tasks.

Hi Ronein,

If you just want to use the EG built-in tasks (as most EG users do) then you can turn off the option to enable SAS Studio tasks which will avoid any error  regarding SAS Studio tasks.

From EG go to Tools > Options > Tasks > SAS Studio Integration > then un-select "Display SAS Studio tasks...." then click OK to close/save Options.

However, if you want to use the SAS Studio interface and/or  you want to use SAS Studio tasks within the EG interface, I would install SAS Studio 3.82. If you or your admin needs help with the installation of SAS Studio 3.82 then you can contact SAS Technical Support for assistance.

Regards,

Bill
