Hi, an End-user complained that an option changed (specifically, the "prompt before replacing results") since the last time she used EG. Any idea why this would happen? Strangely, she has customized the appearance of EG and that was NOT affected. Any help would be greatly appeciated.

Sounds odd. For EG 4.2, the options settings are in a file (EGOptions.xml) on her local Windows machine. If this file was modified or replaced, it would affect her option settings.

The window arrangement in EG isn't controlled through options (I think), so it wouldn't surprise me that it was unaffected.

sorry - forgot to mention that it is EG 4.1 that I am talking about.

This is stored in EGOptions.xml, which you control in Tools->Options. I don't know how the setting might have changed without using the Options dialog.

When you run an entire process flow, EG does not prompt you about replacing results, regardless of option settings. It affects only the single one-at-a-time approach to running tasks.

Which folder is EGOptions stored in? I can't seem to find it.

It's in "%appdata%\SAS\Enterprise Guide\4" (%appdata% resolves to your Windows profile location).
