Unable to connect to SAS Enterprise Guide Local Server

Hello,

I am having the same problem listed in thread

In my case the license has not expired and when I tried to register the service using the below commands:

C:\Program Files\SAS\SASFoundation\9.4\sas.exe -unregserver

C:\Program Files\SAS\SASFoundation\9.4\sas.exe -regserver

Attaching the stack trace of the error when connecting to EG Local Server. 

I get an message on the message log saying: "membership in administrators is not present" 

@ccaulkins9 any inputs on this would be of great help.

I am missing your mentioned error stack trace.

In any case: is the user that is running the /register and /unregister commands, a local administrator of the machine? If not, you would need to talk to your System Admins.

Juan! you_da_man when it comes to SAS Admin (: quickly saying that Authentication BI trails is something that was very helpful, and @JuanS_OCS pointed it out to me when I was working with the Census team to transition from SAS 9.3 to 9.4

Do you get the same error message when you attempt a test connect to your local server using the SAS Integration Technologies Configuration Wizard I mentioned in the previous thread?
