Every time i try to save my SAS EG project, it throws the following error:

"FAILED TO SAVE THE PROJECT.SPECIFIED FILE LENGTH WAS TOO LARGE FOR THE FILE SYSTEM.

PARAMETER NAME = VALUE "

and therefore, i have to save the project using another name.

How do i overcome this recurring issue?  Please help.

What is the name and full path of the project you are trying to save when you get the error?  And where are you trying to save it? (On SAS server (ex. Server->Files location) or local file system (including network shares)?  Finally, what is the OS of the file system where you are trying to save it?
