Hi,
Is it possible in SASEG v4.1 to have different icons possibly colored icons for datasets from different servers. For example "Server A" datasets are red and "Server B" datasets are green. Can anyone help with this?

No, it's not possible to have a "per-server" treatment for data set icons.

Thanks for the info Chris, is there any possible way to visually show that a dataset is from a different server, ie the name. etc

There is an option to display the full path of data files within your project.

You can find it at:
Tools->Options: Project Views

There are two options, one for the project explorer (tree view) and one for the process flow.

The full path includes the server -- for example: "SASHELP.CLASS (SASMain)".

Chris,
if I want this option to be get when the application is installed, what reg key needs to be changed.

There is no registry key: the option is stored in EGOptions.xml, which is in the user profile area (per user).

You can preconfigure the options at deployment time by following the instructions in the Chapter 4 of the EG Administrator's guide, linked from http://support.sas.com/eguide.
